Find Your First Tattoo

When you begin your search for Your First Tattoo, it’s important to consider a few things:

1. Your first tattoo should be something that you are prepared to live with for the rest of your life. If it’s a personal, very symbolic tattoo, put it in a place that can easily be hidden.

2. A tattoo is a very large commitment on your part. Think about it long and hard and consider whether you would still be happy with your first tattoo 20, 30 , or 40 years from now.

3. Consider whether to put a partner’s name on your tattoo. Guys can always get inked with a  ’Mom’ tattoo, but you might not always be in a relationship with that special someone whose name is on your body.

4. Your First Tattoo should have great significance and special meaning to you. Pick something that represents you because it going to be with you for the rest of your life.

5. As you try to find your tattoo from the many diagrams, pictures and sketches, consider each to be a starting point to which you can make your own unique changes – either color or detail – that will truly make it your own.
